I have recently got a sure signal. I got it with a Blackberry Bold 9900 on a new Vodafone contract and it connected up fine.
I then transferred my O2 contract over to Vodafone so I can use the Suresignal. Again I got a new Blackberry Bold 9900
I added it as a user with no problems, but 48 hours later it is still not getting a signal. Help

That didn't have any relevant info in it. I have added the mobile successfully and it's showing in the dashboard. But the phone is not piking up the mobile signal. There is zero coverage in my house. The other phone is get full strength signal via the SureSignal. When I am out and about everything is fine and I am getting normal mobile phone signal

Many thanks for you post here.
I have taken a look at your Sure Signal for you and can’t see any issues with the registration on any of the three numbers attached to it.
Can I ask if you are still experiencing issues picking up signal from the Sure Signal on one of the phones?

I'm afraid not. The (removed for security) number is not working and never has yet. I've been in the store and replaced the sim. I've been on with your echat team at about 5pm yesterday and they said it should be working within 6 hours.24 hours later it still isn't working. The other phone is still working perfectly

Thanks for getting back to me.
I can see that the number is on the Sure Signal and there shouldn’t be any issues.
Can I ask what phone it is that the number is using and also when was the SIM changed completed as this can sometimes cause a delay in a connection to the Sure Signal?

I moved from T-Mobile to vodafone 2yrs back simply because i live in an area with very poor signal and I had the option of sure signal.
I've got the new sure signal unit. It worked well for several months but for the past year or so signal is extremely poor on both registered handsets. My Broadband link is fine - internet access on it is great. I've deleted myself as a user and added myself again as a user. I've updated my handset EMEI nos for both handsets in 'My account".
I'm seating in the same room with the unit but signal on my phone is 0.
I'm really frustrated. I'm on call this weekend and need to be available at the end of the line...

I’d like to help to resolve this VSS (Vodafone Sure Signal) issue for you, but to do this I will need to take some further information from you.
Can you post the following results to this thread?
- On a PC / Laptop :
- Click on Start and select Run
- Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok
- A black box will appear.
- In this box type tracert 22.214.171.124 press Enter
- Paste the output of this command into your reply.
And finally, your VSS serial number.
