As the subject says another e-bay VSS appearing as not being de-registered.

The seller said it had been when cancelled vodafone account, I called CS to be told what has been posted here before that the owner needs to contact vodafone to unregister the device. I wasn't asked for the serial number and noticed that the mods here can check the status and even reset the devices in order for them to get registered again.

The seller has reluctantly said that they would call from work on Monday, he also said he had definitely unregistered the device.

Here is the serial number 40112520495 please help and better still reset so I can register in my name.

I can forward correspondence with the seller as proof of purchase by PM.

My issues have now been resolved even though no one responded to my post.

The seller had called vodafone after my encouragement and passing on the freephone no. 0808 000 166.

When registering the VSS I had a problem when selecting add users, when going through the registration without adding users it went smoothly.

When going back to add users it worked no problem. Hope that helps anyone else having issues.

my handset is working with full connectivity but my wifes BB is not connecting although she has recieved the SS message when I added her number.

I've switched of her handset and also did the same with the SS.

Any ideas what the problem could be, I haven't checked the forum yet to rectify this just seen your welcome message and thought it rude not to reply.

sorry for not responding sooner, not been available.

It's a BB 8900 but suspect the problem is that it's an old PAYG sim based by what has been posted in other messages.
