Anyone's SS v1 make a hissing sound when listened to closely?

Hi there

Just noticed that I could hear something sounding like water in a pipe when checking on SS v1... sure enough it is the SS making a hissing noise when you get you ear close to the top!

Anyone elses do this?  It's not loud but obvious in silence!  Background noise would def drown it out so peope may never have noticed or is it just mine?

Hi DeanUK,

The noise you’re hearing may be due to a heat build-up issue, is the Sure Signal in a well ventilated area? If not, are you able to move it to allow a better flow of air round the device?

Also, it may be related to the issues you’ve mentioned in your other thread which I posted on earlier.
