Recently changed from TalkTalk to BT and since then the Sure Signal does not work.  Have reset a number of times, the line has been resynchronized, I have set up port forwarding as directed by Vodafones technical department and assigned a static I.P.. Yesterday they resynchronized the device once again and assured me it would work within the hour as they could see it trying to connect.  It still doesn't work.  I get a solid 1st light, then the second flashes for a while and eventually goes solid, then the fourth light flashed for a while before all the lights go off and the sequence starts again.  Is there anything else I can do?  Has the device developed a hardware fault? Thanks.

Hi redeyedmonster

Thanks for coming back to us with all the information here. Everything looks to be set up correctly and I can’t see any issues from our side. I’ve resync’d the device again but you’re going to need to try the Sure Signal on another connection to see if this is a device fault.

Thanks

Wayne

What do you mean, "another connection"? Another broadband connection or another port on my router?

Hi redeyedmonster,

Wayne specifically meant a different broadband connection as this will test if the issue is with the box or the connection itself.

That said, if you can try an alternate Ethernet port then this could also be useful in ruling out a dodgy port.

Dave

OK thanks, well it's still not working this end.  What else can you suggest?
