I have a new Belkin F7D2301 v1 and my ISP is Virgin. I have tried setting up my VSS but I only get a solid power light. I have had my VSS working with a previous Netgear router but I've had no joy with this thing. I have tried to look at forwarding ports and setting up a static IP but when I look in theDHCP Client list I can not see the gateway.
Can anybody help please?

Thanks for the information you've provided so far.
We've got a trobleshooting thread of the most common issues, and this sounds like one of those, so can i get you to take a look here and follow the steps suggested to see if anything there helps. If not, let us know and we can look further knowing the basic checks have been carried out.

I have been through the trouble shooting page and no luck. there is a physical connection between my router and the VSS with a steady and flashing light. I have also tried other cables.
There is an active internet connection
I have rebooted my router, updated firmware and even restored to factory settings and run back through it all again.
I have made sure that DHCP is enabled on my router but I can not see the VSS in the client list.
I have also rebooted and reset the VSS.
So I am not sure what to try next?

I can imagine that this must be frustrating for you, however you've come to the right place for help .
Firstly can you confirm you've taken all the steps mentioned in our Sure Signal troubleshooting thread here?

I have a sure signal connected to a virgin superhub and I either get all light flashing or just the solid power light on.
I beleive I have correctly opened port forwarding but still not working. Getting very frustrated now as this is taking ages an I assumed you would just be able to plug in and go?
the unit it on an ip address of 192.168.0.20 and has a serial number of 40114672203. I have regestered it and it shows as active on the 'my account' page. my mobile number is (removed for security)
What am I doing wrong????

Thanks for your post here.
I can see that the Sure Signal is showing as active however it is yet to make a connection with our server.
So that we can take a look at this please can you let me know the following;
Have you left the Sure Signal active for 24 hours after registration?
What is the result of a speed test?
What is the result of a ping test?
What is the result of a traceroute? (Instructions below)
VSS Traceroute command
On a PC :
Click on Start and select Run
Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok
A black box will appear.
In this box type tracert 220.127.116.11 press Enter
Paste the output of this command into your reply.
