Hi all

Just registered the SS and all appeared great though for the last hour both lights have been flashing. I have re-booted though no joy. Can anyone help? Is it trying to locate my phone?

Hi

Can you take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread, and then post back your results if you’re not directed to an existing thread?

Thanks

yo TC,

Why don't you rtm and give it at least 6 hours to configure?

Hello,

I got a new Suresignal Version 2 yesterday and I'm having the same problem as topcat74.

Both lights are continually flashing and have been since yesterday evening.

The dashboard says that the Suresignal is registered

Serial Number 40121029538

MAC Adress 0C4C3903A247

ISP is Demon

IP Address 83.104.226.67

Network Type PPPoA

I've looked through the troubleshooting guides and followed the excellent advice of others in the forum.

Many thanks to grmartin and noslotsemaj.

So far I have tried the following

Set up port forwarding on my router Netgear DG834GT.

Set MTU to 1500

I have reset the Suresignal.

I have depowered/repowered the Suresignal.

traceroute 212.183.133.177

traceroute to 212.183.133.177 (212.183.133.177), 64 hops max, 52 byte packets

I've noticed that it gets stuck at the same place as paulls77 post (ie 85.205.116.10)  who's Suresignal was previously working until yesterday.  A post from jsp also shows a similar problem.

Would it be possible to try resyncing my Suresignal or could you double check my

IP Address and Suresignal Serial Number?

Serial Number 40121029538

IP Address 83.104.226.67

Do you have any suggestions as to anything else I can try?

Thank you very much,

Phil

I am having the same problem.

My serial number is:40112818923

Please help?

I seem to be having the same problem also. My lights have both been flashing all afternoon. My serial number is 40113706663.

Thanks

Hi everyone,

@supermurt1 – I can see that you had the Sure Signal resynchronised at around 16:30 yesterday. Has this sorted the issue?

@callumm20 – I have resynchronised your device for you just now. Can you let me know how it goes?

If you still have problems with this then you will need to reset your Sure Signal device. To do this press the reset button on the back of the device.

Thanks

Wayne
