Vodafone Sure Signal

Hi,

As you may recall I was having a lot of issues getting my Sure Signal to work with my new iPhone 4S. I finally managed to get this sorted out, and it works fine with the iPhone 4, and another three 3G phones in my house. However my wife's iPhone 4 will no longer connect.

I've tried removing & adding her number, resetting her phone (including network settings) but it still says 'No Service'. This is really annoying as this phone worked just fine before I did all the resetting to get the iPhone 4S to connect.

Appreciate some help on this.

Still no change to the iPhone connecting.

This is still a problem - only 2 phones out of 5 can access either of my VSS's. Extremely frustrating given that the same 3 phones worked fine last week !

The re-sync of both VSS's has solved the problem. All 5 mobiles in our house are now connecting fine.

I have re-synced both of the Sure Signal devices for you please allow up to one hour for this to be completed at your end and let me know if you still have any issues.

I too am having problems having just upgraded from 3GS to 4S.   I have spoken several times to technical support without success.   If it is just a matter of resyncing please could you do this for me - VSS number is:  21221763408.

Finally working - spoke to technician who seemed to know what she was doing and resynced the vss - working now.

PLEASE HELP ME SOMEBODY !!!!!!!

I have recently changed from iPhone 3GS to iPhone 4S, and like many people on these forums my new phone will not connect up with my Sure Signal.

I have had Sure Signal for approx 2 years and all has been well, with my Wife, My Son and myself benefiting from the Sure Signal service (though I still feel a little annoyed at having to purchase one of these things in the first place).

I have now (as stated) changed to an iPhone 4S (Kept my original number but now with NEW MicroSim) and just cannot connect to the Sure Signal service. I am now at the end of my tether, and after many years of being a Vodafone customer I am now seriously considering an alternative provider.

I have tried just about everything......

1. De-Registering the Sure Signal and then Re-Registeried it. - Done this twice.

2. Registering the Sure Signal in my wifes name and added my number to that. - Tried this twice.

3. Contacting Vodafone support to have Sure Signal re-Synchronised from their end. -  Done this THREE times.

4. Placed phone on top of Sure Signal and done a RESET NETWORK on phone - THREE times

5. Placed phone on top of Sure Signal and turned on Airplane Mode for 1 Hour then Turn Off Airplane mode - Number of times !

6. Rebooted Sure Signal & Modem/Router - Several Times.

All other phones continue to use Sure Signal. I am now hearing this is a common problem, but have persisted as I continually read about users who have somehow managed to get their iPhone 4S working on Sure Signal, so am determined to ensure I have exhausted ALL possibilities before I change provider.
