Connecting to wifi drops 3G signal

I've had a Sure Signal V1 for a couple of years and it worked fine (mostly) with my previous work phone, a Blackberry Bold 9790. I now have an iPhone 4S and it didn't seem to be working with sure signal at all until I realised that when I turn off my wifi on the phone I then have a 3G signal and the light on the sure signal box flashes. I have called support and they said to do a hard reset of the phone but this hasn't worked. Seems to me it's a conflict of some kind, has anyone else experienced this and found a fix?

Thanks

Nick

Hi nickmcd333,

If you had a new SIM card with the iPhone then you'll need to remove your number from the Sure Signal for 24 hours. Once you re-register it should then work.

If you still experience issues please provide the following information;

Your speed test results from here.

Your ping test results from here.

Your external IP address from here.

The results of a traceroute.

Your Sure Signal serial number:

VSS Traceroute command

On a PC:

Click on Start and select Run

Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok

A black box will appear.

In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter

Paste the output of this command into your reply.

Thanks

Kay
