Constant messages re Location of Sure Signal

Hi

I keep receiving messages from Sure Signal advising that I have not updated my postcode. Although my postcode hasn't changed at all, I have responded twice by going into the settings and re-inputting.

Despite having updated, I still receive texts from you. I even called the Business Support Team on Thursday to ask them to investigate. They told me that the Sure Signal technical team had arranged to stop these alerts.

This hasn't stopped the texts as I have received yet another today.

What do I have to do to stop this?

Thanks

Hi baggiedude,

Can you let me know your Sure Signal serial number?

Thanks,

Kay

Hi Kay

The serial number is 40111634131.

I have received yet another text today so would like this resolved asap.

Thanks in advance.

Mark (baggiedude)

Hi baggiedude,

The Sure Signal is showing a frequent "location change" on our system. I've refreshed the postcode from this end so it should now clear this.

I've also given the box a resync, so I'd give it a reset to pick everything up.

For Sure Signal version 1 or 2:

  • Hold down the reset button until all the lights show (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.
  • Once all lights display release the reset button.
  • The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

For Sure Signal version 3:

  • Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports.
  • Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds.
  • Once the lights come back on, release the button.
  • The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

Give it 24 hours and then let us know if you keep getting the messages.
