Firmware Update SureSignal V1

Hello

 

I gather I need a firmware update for this box..Will not connect phones

3 green solid lights. Good network speed and connection. All required ports opened.

Serial is 21229792029  Sagem Box

Resync successful.. but still no comnnection to phones

No.. I cannot even connect to it.. I am getting a very weak local 3G signal.. which is NOT from my box..so nothing at all..

Hi CGG,

 

Your Sure Signal looks to be connecting to our servers with no problems.

 

What light sequence are you seeing on the box?

 

Please try registering another Vodafone number to the Sure Signal to see if this can connect.

Light sequence is 1 2 4 steady. 3 for the phone is inactive at all times.

 

I will try another phone.. a Galaxy Note GTN 7000

 

I will post a result tomorrow

Regrettably no connection of either phone to the SureSignal.

 

I can perhaps only assume the box is faulty, and not producing an RF signal, although connecting to your system..

 

Unless you have any further ideas, I will disconnect this and abandon.

Hi CGG,

If resetting your router since the update hasn't helped, try placing the Sure Signal in a different area of the home for an hour.

So we can rule out an accessory fault, do you have another Ethernet cable you can test too?

Tried with different cables and in different locations in the property.. still no signal at all..

Now Working!!!

 

Both phones online and seem to be holding signal.. at last.!

 

Many thanks, if something was changed to do this.  ??

 

I will post update tomorrow to confirm if signal still ok.

Still working!!  Activity light flashing and access on both phones..

 

Again, not sure why this has started, perhaps Vodafone fixed a connection or update.

 

All OK..
