Flashing power light only

This issue has the following symptoms:

  • The power light is flashing
  • No other lights flash or light up

Troubleshooting steps:

Reset your Sure Signal:

For version 2:

  1. Hold in the reset button until all lights go solid
  2. Pull the power lead out with the reset button still pushed in
  3. Continue to hold down the reset button and reconnect the power lead
  4. Wait for all lights to come on and then release the reset button

For version 3:

  1. Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports.
  2. Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds.
  3. Once the lights come back on, release the button.

If the symptoms persist then the Sure Signal is faulty and will need to be replaced. The replacement process works in the same way as the process for a phone, except the Sure Signal will be replaced once it's received by the repair centre.

Details of how to arrange this can be found here: Vodafone repairs.

Thanks,

Jenny

I have been using my old Sure Signal box for months with no problems, but 2 days ago it stopped working and the power light is continuously flashing. I have followed the steps in the Troubleshooting Guide as follows;

Ethernet cable connection tried in different ports, power light on ethernet port on, data light flashing okay.

Internet connection is fiine.

Rebooted Router and Sure Signal, still not working.

I am using a Sky Router 8206A with Sky ISP.

IP Address: 192.168.0.10

Mac Address: 50:67:f0:67:c2:8a

Sure Signal Serial No: 40111654055

None of the settings have altered. As I said, it worked fine until 2 days ago, then has stopped working since

I would be grateful for any help. please.

Many thanks.
