Did you perform the actions as outlined by James?
If so then I've forced a resync for you. Please factory reset the device as follows:
- Hold the reset button till all the lights come on or flash (about 30 seconds)
- Keeping the rest button held, remove and re-insert the power lead
- Once all the lights come on or flash, release the reset button
- The VSS should come online within the hour

After doing all the steps advised, my SS is still not working, I done the postcode and then the reset last night, work up this morning and still no inbound calls or texts. What else can we do to sort out this issue?

Thank you for your post and please do keep us updated as I understand you have now updated your details.
I can see that you have updated your postcode and the update has now been implemented, we have re-synced your device and if you could follow the steps again and let us know how it is after a couple of hours.

I have this issue of no incoming calls for about a week now. Have re-set numerous times, but unable to cure problem. Has worked fine over the last year.

Thanks for your post regarding not being able to receive inbound traffic over your VSS.
Could you check this post from James as this has worked for everyone on this thread?

Thanks for that, but I have changed the postcode and back again as suggested. Left the VSS to settle for over an hour before changing the postcode back and also re-booted the VSS.
Still only able to make calls not receive them.
Incoming calls go to answerphone after a long wait.

Just s quick update, I did another factory re-set last thing yesterday and then left it to stew overnight.
My phone rang this morning for the firzt time for over a week. In fact, I've had two calls since starting this post.
Anyway, everything seems fine now.

I'm having the same problem. Has previously worked fine for nearly a year.
I have tried the remedy suggested by James but not luck
Is there anything you can try for me please.

I have taken a look at your serial number for you and can see that it is still showing the incorrect postcode.
I have updated this for you this evening and also re-synced the Sure Signal remotely, please can you test this in one hour and if it still doesn’t work, please then try a reset as outlined below.
@ Alexball, I have re-synced your Sure Signal for you this evening please can you give this one hour and let me know if the issue continues.
VSS Factory Reset

Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.
Once all lights display release the reset button.
The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

I am a long time reader and first time poster on these forums having endured 12 months with my sure signal.
I thought all my problems had been resolved when i got the new sky n router and sure enough it plugged and played with my sure signal box. It has been working beautifully for the last 2 months with only 1 reset of router and suresignal box - this I can live with.
However over the weekend my phone, a nokia e72, stopped receiving texts and incoming calls. After a fruitless moring reseting phone, sure signal and router repeatedly I have turned the SS box off as it is the only way i can get incoming calls albeit on one bar.
Can anyone suggest a solution?

Pleased to see a solution to this issue.
However I cannot access the my suresignal part of the website - sorry - we're unable to process your request right now.
Its been like that all day and I am still missing calls and texts.

My phone has worked fine since installing the SureSignal box. However, for the last week i have been unable to receive calls and unable to receive sms (sometimes they arrive a day or so later). The calls go straight to voicemail. I have now disabled the voicemail and all the callers now get is this person is unavailable. I can make calls successfully as well as send sms.
I have reset the phone, done a battery full, changed to a different network and then back to Vodafone but still no joy.
Can anyone offer suggestions please.
The phone and SIM are around 10 months old.

If you call customer services on 191 they can change the postcode on your SS.
Mine has just been done, performed factory reset and waiting for those lights and bars to come on.
You couldnt make it up
