Iphone 5S not connecting to Suresignal V1 + worst customer service in the country...

So upgraded to 5S last week, so far I have:

  • transfered ownership of device
  • removed my number from the device
  • added my number
  • transfered it back
  • spent hours on the phone to "support" (with them refusing to call me back with updates)
  • had it resynced twice
  • factory reset a million times
  • reset handset network settings
  • had a million different excuses & reasons with Vodafone "suppor"

In a last attempt to save my sanity I'll appeal to the good folk on here to sort this shut out... (typo deliberate).

Thanks to forum member grolsch I'm up and running again. I rebooted both router and sure signal simultaneously - sure signal took longer to reboot this time. Then switched the phone into airline mode, switched it off and bingo 3G.

Nice to see the support in here is every bit as crappy as via the phone... 43 hours no so much as a "hi"

Speaking to support yesterday they claim that a firmware update is required, but can't give any timescales, nor and updates unless I phone in. Absolutely useless.

Btw IP address is now 217.42.213.196
