Iphone 5s and Sure Signal

Hi

Have now had 2 Sure signals both of them when plugged in provide the 3 iphones in this house i.e. iphone 5s, iphone 5 and iphone 6 all have full coverage when in the same room as the Sure signal i.e. 5 spots.  However when speaking to someone on the phone we cannot be heard or it is very garbled.  I initially thought it was a trouble with the iphone and have had both software and hardware fully tested by apple and they can find no fault.  As soon as I unplug the sure signal we can be heard.

The box itself is covered under a 2 year warranty if none of the troubleshooting guides helps.
