Vodafone Sure Signal

I have recently had issues with my Sure Signal box resulting in my old 4 light one being replaced with a newer 2 light one, since the change I now have a location problem when connected to the box.  If I am away from home or switch of the sure Signal box my phone GPS/Maps/Weather Apps all show me being in my physical location, if however I connect to the Sure Signal all GPS/Maps/Apps tell me I am in a completely different part of the UK.  I am sure that this issue has only come about since changing the sure signal box, any ideas?

To be honest this type of issue will be common if you are not on the correct SAC (Service Area Code)

So we can check this for you please can you let us know your Sure Signal serial number and we can check the registration for you.

Thanks for getting back to me.

I have taken a look at your Sure Signal for you and can see that everything is setup fine.

However, when it comes to the location services it will be taken from the MSC that your Sure Signal is attached to.

Unfortunately as this is with the setup of the Femto network there isn’t anything that we can do to change this other than to advise you to set you phone to use WIFI for the location services rather than the network.
