I have upgraded my phone and I was told to delete the mobile phone number from Sure Signal and then re-add it as Sure Signal uses the internal phone ID.
I deleted the phone number but now the Sure signal no longer appears in My Account. When I try to register it again it says it is already registered. The phone support people seem to know nothing about sure signal and have told me they have raised a ticket and I should hear within 24 hours - but I have not heard as yet. Can you sort it out through this forum - my Sure Signal serial number is 21197107200.

You will need to get your SureSignal reset. One of the Tech Team wlil be along shortly and they can get this arranged for you.
On another note the Sure Signal uses the SIM card serial number rather than any ID from the phone so you should never need to 're-add' a user when changing phones.

Thanks - I had a new SIM card (I changed to an iphone) - so I guess that is why I needed to change. Usefult to know for the future though!
Even when you change your SIM you shouldn't need to do anything to the Sure Signal. The changes will filter through the Vodafone systems. When i got my SIM changed it took about 4 hours and it was working with the Sure Signal.

Well that is really frustrating - I have just tested and the phones that I left on the sure signal all work now - the phone I removed (at the instruction of the Vodafone upgrade person) does not and I cannot get to my SureSignal to fix this / add it back on.
Is anyone there who can get me re-associated with my Sure Signal so I can add my phone back on and make phone calls?

Apologies for the delay. We work all queries first come first served in order to be fair to everyone's enquiries, but we do look to get to everyone as quickly as we can.
It looks like you removed the admin number from the Sure Signal, which is why you then lost the option to manage the device online. I've re-added that so that you can now access the Sure Signal online again.
If you do ever need to remove the owner or admin from the device, it's always best to assign the permissions to another number if possible so that you can maintain access.
Let us know if you need any other assistance, and if I've helped, please leave a little feedback for me.

Hi - I still can't access it - did you add it to my "andrewsimmans" account - also my mobile phone (ending 790) still is not talking to SureSignal whilst other phones are.

Thanks for coming back to us.
The 790 number hasn't been added so will be the reason it's not talking to the VSS.
This looks like a really unusual set up if I'm being perfectly honest. I've just sent you a private message so we can delete the entire registration to start again. Please follow my instructions and please also read on in the event the contact us page still isn't working as there's information on how to contact our team via email.
