Making Sure Signal work by TURNING OFF UPnP

So I've spent the customary several days trying to get Sure Signal to work and have witnessed just about every combo of flashing lights. I tried every combo of router settings. I deregistered and registered the device...

Then on a whim I turned OFF UPnP (universal plug and play) in the router settings. That's turned off completely. Not just turning off security enhancements.

Bang. Within 30 minutes it suddenly started working.

Try it if you're having trouble.

Educated guess: I suspect that in the absense of the ports it requires, the Sure Signal falls back to the old trick of routing through port 80.

My internet router is a BT Home Hub 5, by the way.
