My phone is the registered owner but won't connect, all users work fine

Help!

My phone number is set as the owner of my sure signal. It won't connect but all the registered users can connect just fine. AS its defined as the user I can't remove it and re add it.

I have swapped sim cards between handsets ( into one that works for other users) but its definitely my phone number that won't connect no matter which handset I have it in.

I have tried a reset on the Suresignal but its still the same for my number (simcard) in whatever handset I have it in.

My Suresignal SN is 40111074387 and my phone number ends in 7047

Thanks in anticipation

Hi

Can you take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread, and then post back your results if you’re not directed to an existing thread?

Thanks

Matt

Re: My phone is the registered owner but won't connect, all users work fine

Hi Matt,

I have taken a look but nothing seems to be the same as my particular issue.

I tried all the usual things but still I can't get my number to work on the sure signal no matter what I try and whatever handset I put my sim card into. All the other users work just fine. it's just my number for some reason. I also put a working users sim card into my handset and it worked fine so its not the handset, its something to do with my number.

As I said above, I cant remove and re-add myself as my number is the owner number so it doesn't appear in the list of users.

Thanks for responding by the way.

Hi

Any suggestions on how I can resolve this please? I have no signal here without the SureSignal and I need to get my number working.

Thanks

Re: My phone is the registered owner but won't connect, all users work fine

Hi RHPLANT,

The best way to do this is to either transfer the ownership of the Sure signal to another number which will then allow the new owner to remove your number and add it again.

Alternatively you can completely deregister the Sure Signal and register it again.

However if you are having issues with any of these please take a look at the PM that I have sent you and follow the instructions it contains.

Once done, we will be able to look at this for you.

You can find your PM inbox here.

Re: My phone is the registered owner but won't connect, all users work fine

I have transferred ownership to another number ( ends in 2830),

Then logged in and removed and then added the 7407 number. The 7407 number got 2 texts informimg me it had been removed and then added back in.

Alll seems to be working now. I will let you know if anything changes.

Thanks again.

Hi RHPLANT,

Thanks for the update advising you're phone is now registered with the Sure Signal, it's good news.

Should anything change, or you have any further questions, you know where we are.

Thanks
