I have all three lights on my sure signal v1 but no 3g. I have 3 vodafones and none will see any sign of 3G.

I think I need a firm ware upgrade.

How do I achieve this.

SS1 Serial No:

21229653767

I have reset and re rgistered etc. All to no joy.

Hi wayneskie,

Please take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread. If this doesn’t resolve your query, please post your reply either below, or in the relevant thread, together with the details requested, including the following information.

Your speed test results from here.

The results of a traceroute.

Your Sure Signal serial number:

VSS Traceroute command

On a PC:

Click on Start and select Run

A black box will appear.

In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter

Hi wayneskie,

Your Sure Signal updated on the network at 9.56pm last night.

Please let us know if the light sequence has changed, if it’s still not working.

It’s running the old firmware so I’ve requested this to be updated for you.

Please leave the Sure Signal for at least 24 hours and don’t reset it.

Thanks,

Gemma

I am afraid the lights are the same and still I cannot seea 3G signal.

Here is the tracent run again this evening:

i've gone through the same process but mine still isn't working. Apparently had firmware upgrades sent to it but no joy yet, been 4 weeks now and getting no positive suggestions from Vodafone yet.

I've posted my results and had little comment back after my repsonses.

@wayneskie

I've noticed there has been a location change so I have reset this to clear any faukts in the background.

I can see on the traceroute that it fails at steps 2 and 3, this will be at the setup.

My sure signal is still not transmitting 3G.

What should I do now?
