Vodafone Sure Signal

Hi.

I bought a Sure Signal box from the Vodafone online store and collected it from a local branch. It was in the courier's packaging so I have to suppose that it really was new.

However when I went to my account to register it I got the error message that it is already registered. How can that be and how can I fix it?

Update:

A long session using remote access with a member of the technical team showed there really was a problem and eventually they had to admit that I could not register through the web and did the registration from the Vodafone  end for me. All working normally now.

so would you recommend buying a used sure signal from ebay?  How easy is it to deregister without having the original owners details or permission etc
