Nightmare with SureSignal Texts

Hi Guys,

I know that this has been on before but I keep getting texts from Suresignal telling me my Suresignal has been moved even though I have not.

I have changed and renewed in the profile page my postcode.

I have tried to send "stop" in reply to the messages... it saus "message failure" so my 'stop' text does not work.

I have called the technical team 3 times and they have sent signals to my Suresignal and promised me it would NEVER happen again...

I am away on business in India right now and am getting texts every 3 days at between 1am and 6am!!

It's got to stop and there's no way that it is!!

Seriously guys what can I do?

I think I would be looking for the number of Vodafone's MD and forwarding the messages to him.

At an 'appropriate' time, naturally. 😉

Hi cheeseboiler

Thanks for your post and bringing this to our attention.

So that we're able to gain access to your account and the Sure Signal account we'll require some additional information. I've sent a private message with details of how to contact us directly.

You can find your PM inbox here. If you can't access this link, please ensure that the box next to "Turn on private messages" is ticked on this page, and let us know if you need any further assistance.

Please also include details of your Sure Signal serial number in the e-mail.

Thanks

Simon

Hi
I am having the same problem with texts re change of position of my suresignal box.
I have not moved and have input my postcode 3 times now.
Could I have some help too?
PS why do the texts have to come at 05.35 every day? Not very pleasant to be woken up at that time!
Thanks

Hi @Baribabe

Thanks for the information. I've refreshed your details, and you should no longer receive the texts.

Thanks,

Jamian

Welcome to our eForum!

I’ve changed it to our office post code and then back to yours. :Smiling:

This should stop the location change texts.

Please do a factory reset:

  • Unplug the Ethernet cable from the Sure Signal
  • Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports
  • Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds
  • Once the lights come back on, release the button
  • Plug the cable back in

Allow around 1 hour for the Sure Signal to come back online
