No 3G from Suresignal 3 after house move

Hi,

We recently moved house. We have a Suresignal 3. The address of the suresignal 3 was updated via the Vodafone website. The SS3 was plugged in and came up normal, red light on + next 2 white lights. No 3G signal is received.

Phones have been re-registered, no change, still no 3G signal.

SS3 has been reset, and came up again with red + 2 white lights on but still no 3G signal. Please help.

Broadband speed is 1.9Mbps (This is a new connection and according to Sky will be tuned for the first 10 days to obtain the maximum speed. This is day 5. The fastest known at the property is 8Mb in August of this year. I expect we will get closer to that.) We are in the middle of nowhere, also without Vodafone coverage, hence the SS3.

External IP is: 46.64.76.128

SS3 Serial No. is: 42152160265

Tracert output:

C:\WINDOWS\system32>tracert 212.183.133.177

@abajaria

I've had a look through the information you've provided and everything seems to be up and running on our end.

I've done a resync of your Sure Signal. Please go through the process of resetting the device to see if this resolves the issue.

Reset completed. It's now working with one phone. A Nokia Lumia 625 (my work phone). It's not working with either of the two other registered phones in the house. (One iPhone 5S and one iPhone 6S).

I have removed and re-added the iPhone 5S to see if it makes a difference. I'm not able to remove the iPhone 6S (my primary phone) as this is the one that is registered to the account and it doesn't appear in the list to remove. Please can you advise if there is anything special I need to do to either remove and re-add the primary number or to use a SS3 with an iPhone 6S?

Thanks,

Rahim

@abajaria You'll need to deregister the Sure Signal and re register it again through your My Vodafone account to regain connection.

Once you've done this, you'll need to ensure you re-add all the numbers that you require to be active on the Sure Signal.

If your iPhone 6S is on our Red or Red Value Bundle then you can use Wi-Fi calling.

Not sure if you have solved your issues. Have you tried setting your phone to 3G and not 4G? My iphone only works with the VSS3 when set to 3G.
