Hi

The lights on My VSS vary from time to time , but I VERY VERY VERY Rarely get a user light to show That Im using It ?

I am the only V registered user in my house trying to use it

I have even tried to register myself as a new user , but my Vodafone website wont let me , as it says I am already , but My VSS doesnt show me using it , NOR do i have a decent signal in my house , (Hence the reason for buying the SS )

Can you advise ?

Cheers

George

Hi georged22,

Can you do a speed test for us?

I've also resynced the Sure Signal for you, you'll need to reset it to complete the process;

For versions 1 and 2:

-Hold in the reset button until all lights go solid

-Pull the power lead out with the reset button still pushed in

-Continue to hold down the reset button and reconnect the power lead

-Wait for all lights to come on and then release the reset button

For version 3:

-Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports.

-Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds.

-Once the lights come back on, release the button.

Let us know how you get on,

Kay

Hi georged22,

I'm afraid the speedtest results you've posted show a dead link.

Please can you amend the link or copy and paste the results in a post for me?

Cheers, Ben

Hi Ben / Tech Staff

Im just a simple fella , that is having problems with no signal , with the so called vodafone best mobile coverage , so I forked out a 100 Quid to get this resolved

I am no tech buff and I bought a product from yourselves as a plug in and fix, and did not expect to  have to go thru all thes probs and issues , speed check this ( a couple of times)  , reset it  ,ping that , and apart from not having a clue , its the time factor !?...

and it looks like me and thousands of others have the same problems ?.. and all we get is the same standard answer ... " look at our problem solving page before posting "

i wasnt sure how to post / paste / patch ? join the answers I got from your speed check link .. thats why I ALSO write the results below it ?

But I will Try again , and I really hope you appeciate , the amount of time it takes ALL of us who are having all these problems with your product , to get away from our lives to try and sort this .....and in the meantime STILL have no service from the " SURE "  signal  ?!

With Regards

George
