Only lights 1 and 2 are lit

Hi, My sure signal (v1) has not been working for a few weeks now.  I have a Sky router which I have rebooted.  I have reset the box, deregistered for a couple of days then reregistered, given the box a static ip address.  No matter what I do only lights 1 and 2 are lit.  After about 20 minutes of resetting the box all the lights stay on then they sequence through 1, 2 3 and 4 but eventually only 1 and 2 stay lit.

Hi Jan

That is good to hear :smileyhappy:

I was fairly convinced it was a power supply problem, but sometimes it does turn out to be something different.

The delay that you had was the SS updating it'self from the Vodafone server.

Regards,

Mike.

Hi Zafara,

Your symptoms look very much like a failing power supply!

But don't be misled by the constant power light (light 1)

Have a look at post  #1 of this thread and check the similarity to your problem........

http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/t5/Vodafone-Sure-Signal/SureSignal-1-flashing-but-not-working-possible-f...

If you think it is, replacement power supplies are readily available on Amazon or Ebay and cost around £10 or less.

Good luck,

Mike.

Hi Mike

Thanks for your reply. I have replaced the power supply and reset the box. Lights 1 and 2 were on and 4 was flashing but has stopped and only 1 and 2 are on. Would you be able to resync from your end please. The sure signal no is 21223459070

Hi Zarafa,

Thanks for your reply, I didn't realise that you had already replaced the power supply!

I'm afraid I can't help you with the resycing as I'm only a customer like yourself.

Sit tight and a member of the Tech Team will attend to you soon.

Regards,

Mike.

Mike

After following your advice and changing the power supply, I left it over night and it is now working, thanks you so much for your help as I am still waiting for someone from Vodafone to reply.

Thanks again

Jan
