Phone authentication issue on Suresignal

Hi folks, I've got a wierd problem with my SS which hopefully the forum mods might be able to escalate for me as I'm having all mannor of troubles with our friends abroad in CS or Tech Support.  Since owning the unit (nearly 3yrs now, an early adoptor) it's worked flawlessly apart from the occasional network outage however about a week ago and still persisting now I've got this strange issue with the unit whereby it's not allowing registered phones to 'camp on' to the femtocell despite being registered.

I spoke with CS on Wed who tried a resyncronisation but to no avail, they suggested I try another registered handset with the device (a PAYG SIM) which I've done and interestingly yesterday my phone wouldn't connect whilst the PAYG one did and passed calls successfully. The unit had the top, second and last LED lit, I can ping it on my home network, the SS is seeing the router and vice versa so no issue in terms of internet connectivity whatsoever.

It sounds to me like some sort of Authentication issue corruption, interestingly today my main handset worked fine this morning but the PAYG one didn't camp on to it, I've just been out for a bit and now on my return both phones won't camp on to the femtocell.

Yesterday after speaking to CS again they tried de-registering the unit and re-registering it to someone else (another user on my list), then de-registering and re-registering it back with me. I've also tried deleting the PAYG mobile number off it and re-adding but the same issues persist!! There's about eight users registered with the SS but obviously all are never here together so can't check other numbers but both mine and the PAYG one are a good indication of the fact this doesn't point to a hardware fault and something network/account related.

Any suggestions where I can go with Vodafone to get this resolved? Ideally a UK Tech Support contact would be good as, and no disrespect to the Egyptions, they just don't get what I'm telling them!

Re: Phone authentication issue on Suresignal

Hi

Can you take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread, and then post back your results if you’re not directed to an existing thread?

Thanks

Matt

Re: Phone authentication issue on Suresignal

Hi neilclark

Thanks for your post. As Matt has suggested please could you check the Sure Signal troubleshooting and post back to us with the results? Also could you post your Sure Signal serial number so that we can check out the device from our back end systems for you?

Thanks

Simon
