Hi,

 

Please can you re-sync my unit  serial number  40131568053.

 

Also please can you confirm when it last connected to your servers?

Hi Matt060580,

 

The box last connected to our servers on October 18th. 

 

I've resynched that for you now. Can you follow these slightly different steps when resetting to see if they help?

 

For Sure Signal version 1 or 2:

 

  • Pull the Ethernet cable from the sure Signal.
  • Hold down the reset button until all the lights show (about 30 seconds).
  • Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.
  • Once all lights display release the reset button.
  • Plug the cable back in.
  • The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

 

For Sure Signal version 3:

 

  • Pull the Ethernet cable from the sure Signal.
  • Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports.
  • Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds.
  • Once the lights come back on, release the button.
  • Plug the cable back in.
  • The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

 

I can see you've had other resyncs recently, so if that doesn't help, can you re-run the following checks and confirm the results for me in case anything's changed?

 

 - Your speed test results from here.
 - Your ping test results from here.
 - Your external IP address from here.

 - What light sequence you see on your Sure Signal

The results of a traceroute:

VSS Traceroute command

 - On your PC, click on Start and select Run
 - Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok
 - A black box will appear.
 - In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter
 - Paste the output of this command into your reply.
