Please can you help - I have had my SureSignal for at least a couple of years and my current Iphone 4s for about 18 months, suresignal has worked perfectly until about 6 months ago - but has become almost unuseable at home now.

About 6 months ago I also managed to contact customer services by phone and discussed the issue with them I entered all the port forwarding ports that the forum mentions also changed the MTU in my router to 1500 - it has worked slightly of and on but now as I say it is almost impossible to conduct a conversation via my mobile at home!

ISP = Virgin Media

IP address = (removed at customer's request)

Ping = 4ms

Download = 61.56 mbps

Upload = 2.3 mbps

Hi julianBW,

Thanks for posting. I've checked and your IP address is OK as are your speeds.

The traceroute shows a bit of a delay on the first line. Do you have a lot of devices connected to the router at all? Also do you know the router model that you're using? Finally can I get your serial number so I can check reports this end?

I look forward to your reply. :Smiling:

Cheers, Ben

Thanks for the reply

My router is a Virgin SuperHub (Netgear)

Super Hub Version

Software Version   "V2.38.01"
Hardware Version   2.00

SureSignal (Type 2) model 9361 home cell V2-V serial no 4110741689

Also I have had several messages saying the Superhub has moved and I need to put in the new post code, it hasnt moved, but I have re entered the post code!

Regards
Julian

Hey julianBW,

Could you double-check that serial number? It appears to be a digit short.

Cheers,

LeeH

Double checked the serial number and I think its correct (photo attached!)

Hi julianBW

Thanks for getting back to us. I've given the Sure Signal a re sync, can you factory reset to complete the process?

VSS Factory Reset

* Hold the reset button till all the lights come on or flash (about 30 seconds)
* Keeping the rest button held, remove and re-insert the power lead
* Once all the lights come on or flash, release the reset button
* The VSS should come online within the hour

Thanks

Sukhi
