Hi there,

I have a v2 SureSignal that after checking all forwarded ports, changing (and changing back) the location, and a factory reset won't now connect, despite having worked fine prior to a few weeks ago. I have only the power light, plus both the rear power light and ethernet light.

Details as requested:

Serial: 40114227909

IP: 81.135.110.227 (On BT Broadband)

Ping: 31ms

Speed: 2.75 Mbps

Traceroute:

Thanks James. Apologies for dropping things for so long; I've been away.

Yep, the SS gets an IP address via DHCP and it all looks fine on the router.

Hi Gareth,

Your Sure Signal still hasn’t connected to our servers since 6 April.

Check to make sure the following ports are open/forwarded on your router:

Port Number

8          TCP      UDP

50         TCP      UDP

53         TCP      UDP

67                     UDP

68                     UDP

123                   UDP

500                   UDP

1723     TCP      UDP

4500                 UDP

33434 - 33445    UDP

If they are, is it possible to try a different router on your connection?

Also, have you had the chance to try your Sure Signal on a different internet connection?

Thanks,

Andy
