Poor quality via SS

I am in a bad signal area and so use a Sure Signal. Recently i have been having many problems with the it. Even with full signal showing on my phone, talking to people via the SS they say my voice is breaking up and intermittent. I hear them fine. Re-booting the SS will cure this for a day or so then its gets really poor again. If left for a few days the mobile in our house will stop receiving or making calls via SS until it is rebooted.
I have Virgin 50Mbs broadband and have the SS plugged into an Apple Airport.
Any ideas welcome as I work from home and its driving me nuts. Thanks Phil.
