Power light on, system light keeps flashing - Version 2

I've tried resetting the Sure signal box umpteen times and also have had the box unplugged for some time in case overheating was the cause. At first after restarting, the system and phone lights keep flashing but after a while the power light stays on, the system light keeps flashing and the phone light turns off.

On the troubleshooting guide there's no thread for this combination of lights and I've read on other similar threads that a re-sync at vodafone's end usually sorts the problem out, so hopefully that's all it'll take.

Thanks a lot!

Hi heaste1,

Apart from the missing step 4 in the traceroute everything looks OK with the details you've posted. Step 5 spiked quite high but was still well within the necessary 200ms.

I've arranged a resync, so can you do a factory reset of the Sure Signal to complete this and let us know if it helps?

  • Hold down the reset button until all the lights show (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead.
  • Once all lights display release the reset button.
  • The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

Dave

That did the trick, thanks a lot.

I'm having the exact same problem again, wonder if another re-sync is possible since that did the job last time? Thanks again.
