Problems with replacement sure signal box not working

Sure Signal device serial 42164480148

 

Ip address reserved with DHCP to 192.168.0.8, it is connected with the connection light slowly flashing. 

 

Virgin Superhub 2 with the following ports open:

@ccaasjf I can see that your device last made contact on 1 December, please can you let us know if you're still experiencing any issues?

Yes it is connected ok.

 

But I am submitting a letter of complaint to have the device replaced under safety grounds, if you can see from my previous post on the evening of the 30th the device would not power on for several hours, for the avoidance of any doubt this means the device was not working as expected.

 

I am not prepared to wait until I switch the device off again and the issue to re occur, whilst I have traction at the moment I expect a new device to be shipped and this unit will be returned.

 

If this does not happen I will get trading standards and OFCOM involved.

They are only interested in 'contractual' issues according to the call I had with them yesterday..

Just got my replacement box having sent the one back that wasn't working.Trying to set it up now but can't add users - so not holding out much hope for it connecting!  Ridiculous.  So disappointed with Vodafone and their customer service.  And the website is not user friendly!

Reported my Sure Signal as Not Working on the 4th November, and its still NOT WORKING?????????? Please Do Something

You should send it back - they will send you the packaging so it doesn't cost anything. Then insist that they send you a new one - none of this refund and re-purchase. Once they receive your broken one, they should send you out a new one. Good luck!

Please take a look at our Sure Signal Troubleshooting thread. If this doesn’t resolve your query, please post your reply either below, or in the relevant thread, together with the details requested, including the following information:

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • The Sure Signal Serial number

 

  • The lights you're seeing on the Sure Signal

 

  • The results of a traceroute

 

 

VSS Traceroute command

 

 

 

 

    • On a PC:

 

    • Click on Start and select Run

 

    • Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok

 

    • A black box will appear

 

    • In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter

 

    • Paste the output of this command into your reply

 

 

This will help us get the quickest possible resolution for you.
