Vodafone Sure Signal

Where I live, we get FREQUENT, short power cuts and surges.  Every time this happens the Sure Signal, along with my BT Home Hub/Router restart themselves.

The BT restarts in just a few seconds, but the Vodafone box takes anything up to an hour before I get my mobile signal back.

Is there ANYTHING that can be done to improve reboot time?

Have you considered an uninteruptable power supply?

Strange - my SS is usually back online within a few mins.

The UPS idea may be worth exploring. Probably want the BT unit on the UPS too, if that's sufficient to keep connectivity alive, in which case the SS may be happier.
