How do I register a Vodafone Sure Signal as the way to do it online has been down for over two weeks?

Unable to resolve online as they have issues with the online registration. Eventually resolved (at least I hope it is, box does appear to be doing something) with a call to customer services (from a non-Vodafone number, since I have no coverage at home). That's 37mins 48 secs of my life I'll never get back!!!
