Replaced Sure Signal - now no phones connect!

Hi all,

 

I replaced my sure signal on Tuesday - since then it seems to work fine apart from what it is actually supposed to do! Namely, allow my phones to use it.

 

All is exactly the same as before my other one blew up! I have registered it, I get 3 solid lights (V3, one red, two white), I add a user (me) and I get a text on my phone saying I can use the sure signal now...but zero connection to it! Tried two handsets, SIM works fine as I get tiny signal already in my house....network and connectivity identical.

 

Tried deregsiter and re-register twice, tried waiting hours before re-adding a user, tried a reset...etc...

 

HELP!

Awesome - no replies at all from Vodafone! The power of the forum eh? So, over the phone usless and over the forum useless too! Last I was told it would be working a week ago...same problem, registers fine, adds users, user get no signal from it...crap!

make sure you have 3g phone for v3 to work and place it on 3g network from 4g or 2g

 

make sure 3g selected under network settings on your phone then if you have to reset your phone it can pick up the sure signal v3

Hello Laura - results below. I have de-registered and re-registered this unit several times, removed and added users several times and also de-registered for 24 hours and then added again. Tried phones on 3G only etc...phones get the connection text when users added but never use the actual signal!

on adding users and removeing them have you hard reset the Sure signal v3 no need to keep on de-registered and re-registered and works in a 30 meters of the sure signal

Hi - any ideas? Seems to me this is a product and idea on its way out? I understand Vodafone will be launching a wi-fi app or ability in the near future..regardless, can I use this device or not? Thanks...
