And so is mine!!!  I thought it was something BT did but obviously Voda are  responding at last.

You are entitled to a refund of the cost of replacement of your dead unit. Please report the failure to the BBC Watchdog programme using details below and contact Vodafone to demand a refund.

There are known issues with this device whether exploded or just died and regardless of warranty you are due a free replacement.
