Resynch required please

I need my vss version 1 resynched
Serial number is 21196945022
I have posted this a couple of days ago but it was showing as problem solved for some reason.
I have tried everything as per trouble shooting guide to no avail.
Can you re synch it ASAP please.

VSS Traceroute command

On a PC:

Click on Start and select Run

Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok

A black box will appear.

In this box type tracert 212.183.133.177 press Enter

Paste the output of this command into your reply.

This will help us get the quickest possible resolution for you.

Hi scooterwales,

 

Thanks for posting. I've sorted the resync for you. To complete the process can you:

 

  • Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports.
  • Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds.
  • Once the lights come back on, release the button.
  • The Sure Signal will come online in around 1 hour.

If you're still experiencing any issues, please follow the instructions Matt has posted above. :Smiling:

Does anybody know what the following means on the two lights where the Ethernet cable goes into the vss1.
I have a steady orange light (which I assume means it's powered up)
The green light is constant not flashing as I would expect.
I have had a resynch but the box is still not working I thought I would ask the above question before I went through the next step to try and resolve a dead box.
