Hi TonyTango,
I had the same problem with my previous Sure Signal box. It turned out it had given up the ghost and I needed a replacement.
Might be quicker to phone customer services and try to get a new one.

I am also suffering with disconnections throughout the day.
This usually happens when I move from room to room in my home.
Are Vodafone no closer to solving this issue ? Its been going on for a long time now.
Is the problem even being investigated ?

Hi tonytango
Thanks for your reply letting us know that your Sure Signal is now up and running. Have you experienced any further difficulties since the reset?
Hi simonb007
When you're switching from room to room are the lights showing as normal on your Sure Signal? How often do the disconnections happen and is the phone automatically camping back on to the Sure Signal or are you having to do a manual roam to re-connect?
Thanks
Simon

I was just want to add that also ive started getting these disconnects, over the last few days, but i also noticed that my vss is resyncing as well, can you tell me, do you resync these boxes from your end every so often, because thats what mines startedf doing, and its random, sometimes ill use the internet on my onex and all the lights will show that the ss is in use but i cant get anything, and about the reconnect issue after leaving and coming back into range, my onex as got a delay of like 5mins before it connects, i also have another thread open about the latency and delay when speaking to someone. The design of these boxes is absolutley terrible, the sensitive skin of a new born could burn themselves on it, they get really hot, theres only holes on the back to allow ventilation, and the vss is tilted the wrong damn way for the holes to be effective, come on, who designed this, if i knew it would last i would drill holes in the top where they should be, this heat is probably the cause of everything.

Hi boe32
Thanks for your post. We do send new firmware to the devices and perform maintenance updates on them every so often but these usually take place overnight so as to minimise the impact.
In relation to the device getting hot, this isn't something that we see a lot of so this is more than likely down to your individual device rather than a design flaw.
I've sent a private message with details of how to contact us directly. You can find your PM inbox here. If you can't access this link, please ensure that the box next to "Turn on private messages" is ticked on this page, and let us know if you need any further assistance.
Thanks
Simon

Just to advise I am still having the disconnects. It seems to happen mainly overnight when my phone is charging
in another room to the SS Box. Phone will only re-sync normally after going into Flight mode and then back to normal phone
settings. As you can appreciate, I cannot just leave the phone for long periods of time to see if it will re-connect as I need
clients to get hold of me, which does not always happen when I am disconnected from the SS Box at home.
As regards the SS Box getting hot, I have suffered with all 3 of my boxes getting hot.
Just because it is not reported as a fault, does not necessarily mean that they don't exhibit the problem.
