SS1 not working anymore

I have SS1 which has been working fine. Now it won't work for some reason. I have restarted it several times. I have lights 1, 2 and 4 on solid. My internet is fine. Just can't seemt o get my 3G working.

So, you want me to take my Sure Signal somewhere else, and set it up with someone else's router and computer? Seriously?

 

I would not presume to impose this on friends, and I don't think the library or an internet cafe will allow me to do this.

 

Can we not just accept that in all likelihood, the thing is knacked? It is a v1 after all.

We need this to be tested on another connection so that we can rule out a fault with the Sure Signal itself.

I'm having the same ###### with my sure signal - it's been down since lunchtime yesterday, though lights 1,2 + 4 are all on..  I've tried numerous resets - putting my sim in my old phone, soft resets on my phone as well as just spending 51 minutes on livechat to some one who told me yet again to do soft resets - i'm really ###### off and ready to cancel my contract and Direct Debit, cos I don't see why I should be paying out for contract I can't use :Sad_face: and will need to top-up on EE instead cos I need a working phone :Sad_face:    any tips or ideas?   

Can one of the Vodafone team please try re-syncing my VSS box please because it's been nearly 24hours now since I last had any signal and I'm not happy!

I also have had 1,2, and 4 today - no service (and no answers today?  Aargh...)

 

 

just noticed as well that my own number isn't even showing up in my sure signal users - when I spoke to someone on live chat he said I had 2 numbers registered - who it turns out are my dad and my daughter, but both live miles away so cant test if their numbers are working, but when I try to re-add my number I get error message saying person's already added :Sad_face:  

It seems that Vodafone really can't be ###### with getting problems sorted - I've just cancelled my Direct Debit so looks like I will be moving to EE like my at home kids

I don't want to leave Vf, having joined it becuase it had the best coverage for Scotland, but lots of things have been going wrong with my acct lately, and this is the tin lid... have had to stand outside in teh rain and blusterty gales to get signal in order to use phone...

 

I don't really want to leave either, but the only thing that is keeping me is my Vodafone family group - though 2 of my kids have gone to EE where they get a fantastic deal on texts + internet each month, I can't be paying out for a contract when I have no signal + can't use it :Sad_face:

 

Same - I have 2 children whose phone contracts I pay for, both Vf - meanwhile, I have just fpund out that I have been paying way over the odds for mycurrent contract and they incorrectly extended it for another year... also, when I asked about a sim for my iPad, I was told they didn't do sim-only, and that I would have to buy the iPad from Vf in order to get a sim - and there is more I am too hacked off to go into...  maybe it is time to look elsewhere. EE, you say?
