Solution

SS1 problem

profpugwash
4: Newbie

My SS1 has stopped working.

It has worked faultlessly since I got it but 2 days ago started flashing lights 1 & 3, then 2 then repeating.

After a couple of reboots the lights are flashing 1 & 2, then 2, then 1, then repeat.

What is the point of the Tech Team?  Both Andrew and Lee have read my PMs asking for help on this post.  Andrew has replied to 5 other threads in the last hour and no-one has helped me!

Please will someone help me.  Can't you at least start by resetting at your end like you do for other users?

I mean I can see when my PMs have been read, I can see them posting to other threads but I don't hear a thing, all it takes is a quick message to say we'll look at it tomorrow, or anything at all - it is frustrating in the extreme!!

Stop flooding the boards with posts. It is against the forum T&Cs that you have agreed to and it slows the whoe thing down for you and others. You'll get thrown off the forum if you continue.

if they have people visibly reading post why cant they at least have to courtesy to acknowledge and give an idea when it will be looked at????

This is a forum not live help. You can bump the posts as much as you like but it won't elicit a response from the team. It is also a self help community as much as anything with significant contributions from other customers like me.

I have merged all the individual threads you created into this one thread.

You'll have to be patient and wait for them to get to you. If you want instant results call 191 or go to the main Vodafone website and find the live chat with an assistant.

Hi there

Just to let you know that the eForum Team will not respond to Private Messages.  You will need to wait until they respond to you on this thread and if they need personal information they will send you details of the info they require and how to provide it.  The Team aim to respond to all posts within 24 hours as it clearly states on the main page of the eForum:

Once you've posted, we'll aim to respond within 24 hours.

Hi profpugwash.

I’ve taken a look at the registration and can see that it’s still not connected since august.

When you get home, please can you try another reset, one this has done please can you let me know if you are still seeing the same light sequence in the morning.

If you are then it would suggest a faulty box although the easiest way to test this would be to try it on a different internet connection.
