SS3 not working

Hasn't been working for a few days now, just a solid red and no other lights, followed the troubleshooting but of course that is the only sequence not on the list. Reset it again this morning and now the first light is flashing.

The solution was a factory reset so that the new software could be downloaded to the device.

 

I wish they could let me know instead of having this hassle and wasting hours of my time trawling the net and these forums only to have to call the helpline.

Sorted now, a quick call to the Voda tech team and all is well.

 

BTW, if you have a SS V3 it won't work on basic broadband, it needs 1.5 Mbps to work rather than the .36 the people on here tell you so take it to the VF shop for a refund or wait until you are on "Superfast" BB.
