Hello everybody
I have a Vodafone Sure Signal that is currently used for the development of a University project and I have a question: how can I measure the signal strength of the device? Is there a program (possibly downloadable from the Internet), that allows me to measure the signal strength in dbm? If I use any Wireless connection, through a simple application called SiStr (and surely many more), the WiFi signal strength in dbm can be measured: does it exist any similar application that allows to do the same for the Sure Signal?
Thx a lot for your answers

Hi lbxande,
What type of handset are you using?
There are a few apps available for Androi that will should youir signal strengel in dBm. Or some Android handsets allow you to view the signal strength by entering the testing screen on the handset. This can be done by inputting *#*#4636#*#* into the dialer.

Thanks for the promptness of the suggestion. unfortunately, as part of the experiment that I am doing, I am using
- windows xp on the computer that is connected to the femto through a dongle
- symbian on the mobile that is connected to the femto (it's a Nokia E7)
Have you got any idea for these two handsets? Thx a lot
