I've checked and we already have your serial number on our list.
We speak to the Sure Signal support teams directly so we raised an issue to them and asked for this to be looked into.
As soon as we have a response we will be in touch.
Thanks

Would it be wise for Vodafone to suspend these updates going out to sure signal boxes until they know why this is happening? If Stef73 is anything to go by its still happening

@ cjm1979
Its a bit to suspend the updates
From (10th May), we're going to be rolling out a firmware update to all active Sure Signals.
The update will implement various changes made on our servers to enhance the service.
The updates will be rolled out in phases overnight throughout May and June and your device will be offline for no more than a couple of hours during the update.
And this is when the problems started!![]()
And cjm1979 the problem is not with your isp trust me!

Hi Ben. How will i know when the Voda engineers think theve fixed it? Apart from the remote chance of it just working all of a sudden and my signal coming back i could be waiting for it fixing while the engineers think they have but i need to do a reset and wont know. Ive have had no email or sms to say they are looking at it but when i had problems when i first got it i had updates by sms.

Hi Support Team,
Sorry to report a steady light on on my brand new and eagerly awaited SS:
Serial # - 40110732829
IP Address - 90.197.231.49
Router - Sky D-Link 9361 Homecell
Router Serial # - PVG81B1019971
Reading the forum, it would appear there are compatibility issues with Sky Broadband that may or may not now have been resolved.
Any help or guidence would be much appreciated!!!

I was also getting the 'Steady Power light only' issue on my New SureSignal. Although I have left it alone for a while and now have a slightly different issue.
I'm getting the 'System' light on solid, suggesting my phone should be recieving 3g from the SureSignal, but when my phone connects and gets 3g, it only lasts for about 10seconds and then it drops back to 'g'. After that, the 'System' light on the SureSignal flashes for 10 or so seconds, goes solid, then the process repeats...
Could anyone help me to diagnose this issue.
Thanks.

I have a new Sure Signal and have the same problem as everyone else, i.e. steady power light - nothing else.
I've tried everything on the checklist (except checking for internal IP address and port-forwarding - the router is managed by a local ISP which has a monopoly on the internet in my office building and I haven't been able to get them to help so far).
My office development is very new and doesn't appear on online maps - when I entered the postcode (YO10 5GE) to register the Sure Signal, I was told this was an "invalid postcode", and so I entered the nearest postcode I could find. I presume that this is the problem, and I wonder if someone at Vodafone can help?
Sure Signal serial #: 40111020083.
Router: TP Link TL-R402M
ISP: a local company
Thanks! Tom

Hi guys,
Thank you all for posting. In regards to the issue we've seen reported on the forum, it has been looked into by our Sure Signal engineers, and they've not found any specific problems at their end. The likely cause of the issue is that some Sure Signals haven't reconnected to the network correctly since the Planned Maintenance. In the majority of cases, a resync done at our end has brought these Sure Signals back to life.
stef73, SeanGlasspool, bingreed, thiskey, I've forced a resync on your devices now. If you do encounter any further issues, then please let me know.
DemonAdmin, you issue sounds different to everyone elses, so I've sent you an email. If you reply with all the details then we'll be in touch as soon as we can.
cjm1979, your Sure Signal has already been resynced, so if you're still experiencing issues we're going to need to look at it closer for you. If you reply with all the details then we'll be in touch as soon as we can.
Digicom, I'm aware that your Sure Signal has already been replaced and a resync has been done. We already have your details on email, so they've been passed onto our Sure Signal engineers for further investigation.

Hi
Can I ask what about the rest of us who have been waiting since last Thursday for this resync. Mine is still out of action and awaiting a reeply of some sort from yourselves. Do we have to keep reposting to get this done?. The three phones linked to my SS have not had a signal since Thursday, a week tomorrow, when can I expect something to be done about this please.
Incase you cant find my earlier post my serial number is 21229058801n and I have followed all the troubleshooters, deregistered and tried factory reset - nothing works.
Your input on this would be greatly appreciated.

Have just spoken to a tech support supervisor who advised me within last few minutes a memo has been sent out stating there is going to be a software update released for suresignals customers within the next 24hrs that should resolve all the issues regarding the suresignal units.
Can any eforum staff confirm this please?
Regards
Digi

George, thanks for the forced re-sync. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have helped... I reset the device and it flashed for a while but now it's just the power light again.
Do you think the fact that Vodafone doesn't recognise my postcode is a factor?
Any other ideas?
Thanks for your help so far. Tom
