Struggling with sure signal 2

Hello,we have recently bought a 2nd hand sure signal box. it had been de-registerd by the old owners and re-registered to us. everything to do with setting up the box has woked,the correct power light is on.Th only problem is neither my phone or my wifes phone,both on vodaphone contract are getting a signal from it. We have both followed all the troubleshooting tips including switching our phones off,removing battery and sim etc but to no avail. We phoned vodaphone and they said chances are our box needs re-sycned so could you please help us thank you!!

Type CMD into the Run box and press enter/click ok

I can see that there has been a location change which may have been done by your ISP.

 

I've reset this and resynched the Sure Signal.

Only the power button is lit up on the box now,does this mean Ishould reset it from my end too? thanks

ok so all afternoon the system light is continually flashing,surely it should have configured by now?

Hi massey625,

 

Please reset the Sure Signal box following the steps below:

 

  • Hold down the reset button until all the lights show (about 30 seconds) keeping the reset button held down
  • Remove then re-insert the power lead
  • Once all lights display release the reset button

Hi again,after getting a few days of our ss working it is now looking like everything is fine lights wise on the box but my phone isnt picking up a signal. Our toddler dropped the box and when I tried to reset it to see if that would help I notice the reset button seems to have broken off 😞 would this be why it doesn't seem to be working now?
