All sorted the LAN ports on my router were dead, would have been as a result of a previous thunder storm.
I bought a new tp link modem router and happy days now have 3 g again.

Hi there,

No need to bump posts to get them seen, the forum team are currently taking 24-48 hours to get to new questions, so will be with you later this afternoon or tomorrow.

As it is something they need to look at behind the scenes, the rest of the community can't really offer much help.

Has anything changed in your network setup that may contribute to it now not working, and have you tried switching it off for an hour or so in case the hot weather has caused it to overheat?

Thanks for the reply, no nothing's changed I dd have a similar problem last year when a resynch seemed to sort things out.

Hi scooterwales,

Your Sure Signal hasn’t made contact with the network since 19 June ar 5.54am.

I’ve performed a resync from here, so it completes please perform a factory reset:

  • Hold down the reset button until all the lights show/flash (about 30 seconds)
  • Keeping the reset button held down, remove then re-insert the power lead
  • Once all the lights display, release the reset button
  • The Sure Signal will come online in about an hour

If it’s still not working, please test your Sure Signal at a different location.

Thanks,

Gemma

Thanks for the re synch,,
It's still not working, I've still only got power light light (steady not flashing)
Where the Ethernet cable goes in the back I have a constant yellow and green light (again not flashing)
I am unable to try in a different location..
Do you have any other ideas? Is it showing up at your end?
Thanks in advance.

Hi scooterwales,

We still haven't seen the Sure Signal connect to our servers.

Ideally it'd be good to try the Sure Signal somewhere else. This will rule out any issue with the Sure Signal itself.

Thanks,

Matt B
