Sure Signal 1 needs reset after hub upgrade.

My sure signal v1 is not longer allowing phones to connect. All lights green except phone one. This happened after a hub upgrade. I have tried a reset but no joy. SS serial number is 21228583296.

 

Can you please do a reset from your end.

Hi pmjw,

 

I've resynched the device and also noticed that you're on an older version of software.

 

Please reset your Sure Signal as this will prompt the update to be sent through. Please don't reset or switch off the unit for 24 hours once this has been done.

 

-Hold in the reset button until all lights go solid
-Pull the power lead out with the reset button still pushed in
-Continue to hold down the reset button and reconnect the power lead
-Wait for all lights to come on and then release the reset button

The Sure Signal will be back online in around 1 hour.

 

If you're still having difficulties, let us know and we'll manually send it.

I also have this problem. My SS box has 1,2 &4 lights on but phones can't get signal. Serial number of my SS box is 21223481173. I have reset box today and lights all came on after about an hour but when I now tried to use phone only 1 & 2 were on. I have a bt home hub 4 router.

HI

I seem to have the same problem after 4 or 5 years the Suresignal no longer has a 3g signal. I contacted telephone support this morning and they apparently upgrade the software on the suresignal. I was told this should fix the problem but it is now 9 hours later and still no signal to any of my phones or ipads. Can anyone suggest anything that may help. I would call support but of course i have no phone signal.

Hi still having problems with ss v1 its not connected since the 24/9/14 and i have phoned and tried resetting 4 times.

I can see this has connected to us on the 2 October at 1.51 pm.

 

Has this started working again for you? If not please can you let me know the light sequence you’re seeing on the Vodafone Sure Signal?

 

Which internet service provider are you using?

Hi Laura, Still not working done a reset friday and last night. The power light comes on then the 2nd light flashes and then stays on then the 4th light flashes and after about 20 seconds they all go out even the power light the lan lights stay on tho. After a few mins the power light comes back on and the sequence repeats. I have even tried 2 different new Ethernet cables. My is utility warehouse. Thanks Martin

I suspect this is a power issue. 

 

Please try using a different power adapter to power the Sure Signal and let us know if it connects.
