Sure Signal 1 stopped working and cycling lights

I have a sure signal 1, it has been working ok but has now stopped working with no other changes being made to phones, PC or router etc.  The power light comes on green, light two flashes and then becomes solid green, light 4 will flash green and then all lights go out and the cycle starts again.  I have reset the device as per the instructions, I have called the support team and they said they have also reset the device but its still not working.  I have another suresignal I use at my place of work at another location that I plug  into the same cable on the same router and that works perfectly straight away.  The internet download speed is never less than 9mbs, the device serial number is 21227855588.

Hi slacey99,

The information you've provided is fine. Your Sure Signal is also running the latest firmware version.

Please try the Sure Signal at your place of work. We can then determine if it's a fault with the device itself.

Thanks,

Kay

HI

I have tried the sure signal unit at my place of work and it is not working and cycling the lights as it does at home.

I assume this shows that it is a probelm with the box itself, can it be resynced?

Hi slacey99,

It does sound like a faulty device unfortunately. As it's likely to be outside of warranty by now, you can purchase a new one here

It's unlikely to resolve the issue but I've done a resync for you. Please do a reset to complete the process;

1 - Hold the reset button until all 4 lights are solid. Don't let go of the button until step 4

2 - Remove the power cable then the LAN cable

3 - Insert ONLY the power cable

4 - When the lights flash 1, 2, 3 then 4 release the reset button and wait for the unit to boot (5 minutes should do it).

5 - Insert the LAN cable and wait

Thanks,

Kay

Thanks , as you thought this didn't work, i'll assume its a faulty device and by a replacement
