Sure Signal 2 not working today

Hi,
I got my SureSignal last Saturday and it's been working fine all week. This morning it got turned off and when I turned it back on (about 09:00) I expected it to come back quite quickly - but it didn't - it just sat there with both System and Phone lights flashing for well over an hour. Worth noting here that nothing has changed at my end.
I have reset the box (hold reset button in for 30s - remove and reconnect power - wait for lights) but still just System and Phone lights flashing. I can see on my router it's talking to you ... current sessions as below ... and earlier there was a session on port 500 as well ... and it's constantly sending and receiving at about 10kbps ... but still the lights flash.
Can you check at your end (serial 41113711703) and see what state it is in, please.
Sessions ...
10.0.0.141 50123 59147 212.183.133.182 123 WAN1
10.0.0.141 50124 59148 88.82.13.174 123 WAN1
10.0.0.141 50124 59148 212.183.133.182 123 WAN1
10.0.0.141 4500 4500 88.82.13.170 4500 WAN1
Thanks,
Brian

Hi,
Both System and Phone lights are still flashing but now it's hardly sending / receiving any data and there's only one active session ...
10.0.0.141 4500 4500 88.82.13.171 4500 WAN1
... so I'm thinking it may need one of these famous re-syncs I've been reading about :-)
Thanks,
Brian

At least I'm not the only one :-)
Since I doubt I'll now get any response until Monday ... today I've de-registered and reset the SS and left it turned off ... I'm now going to leave it a few hours then I'll go through the registration process again and power it up and see what happens.
I'm hoping de-registering clears everything off the Vodafone servers which means since it worked originally after I first set it up last weekend starting from scratch should make it work again.
I'll update later with the results.

Update ...
It's now re-registered and going through the configuration process - with the power light on and both System and Phone lights flashing.
Immediately after power on I observed sessions as follows:
10.0.0.141 50124 50124 88.82.13.174 123 WAN1
10.0.0.141 500 500 88.82.13.170 500 WAN1
10.0.0.141 50123 50123 212.183.133.182 123 WAN1
10.0.0.141 50124 50124 212.183.133.182 123 WAN1
10.0.0.141 4500 4500 88.82.13.170 4500 WAN1
which after about five minutes settled down to ...
10.0.0.141 50124 50124 88.82.13.174 123 WAN1
10.0.0.141 50123 50123 212.183.133.182 123 WAN1
10.0.0.141 50124 50124 212.183.133.182 123 WAN1
10.0.0.141 4500 4500 88.82.13.170 4500 WAN1
I know 123 is NTP so that's the SS keeping it's clock synced ... and I'm guessing 4500 is the main VPN connection to the Vodafone servers.
I can also observe TX and RX traffic from the SS sitting around 3 Kbps to 6 Kbps with peak RX at 436 Kbps.
So it appears to be communicating with Vodafone OK.
Additional info ... the external IP being used by the SS is 82.153.230.206 ... it's connected to a Draytek 2820 with the latest firmware and the SS is in a DMZ so all ports are open. (Address mapping is also set to ensure the SS appears to the outside world with the right IP address.
Now I wait a few hours (time for a beer I think) and see what happens. If the process goes as per when I originally connected it then it will be working within 2 hours ... if not ... well we'll see :-)

IT'S NOW WORKING ... YEE-HAW :-)
So in summary for those that see this in the future the solution is ...
- Factory reset your SS (for SSV2 you hold the reset button in with the SS turned on until the lights come on and flash - then [while still hollding in the reset button] you remove and reconnect the power - then [while still holding in the reset button] wait until the lights flash again).
- Remove power from the SS immediately after the reset and leave it turned off.
- De-register the SS from My Account.
- Waiit a few hours (I waited about three).
- Register the SS from My Account.
- Power on the SS.
And about an hour later it should be working.

I am having exactly the same problems with our Sure Signals as described above.
I have followed the above procedure (reset, deregister, etc.) but still no good.
We have 9 sure signals that used to work just fine until we changed our firewall. However, we have proved that the IP traffic from our Sure Signals is being routed to Vodafone. When I re-registered one of the Sure Signals earlier today it reported that it is now registered on the Vodafone website, so we seem to have some kind of communication between us and Vodafone.
Here is the serial number of the Sure Signal that I am using to test this: 40110923675
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Good afternoon AlanHemming,
Thanks for your post. I have forced a resync of the VSS for you as I can see it last connected to our servers on 12/01/12.
Please perform a factory reset and let me know how it goes.
- Hold the reset button till all the lights come on or flash (about 30 seconds)
- Keeping the reset button held, remove and re-insert the power lead
- When all the lights come on or flash, release the reset button
- The VSS should come online within the hour
Cheers,
Lee
