Sure Signal - 4 Handsets Registered, 1 Handset Fails

Stixy
4: Newbie

I have a Sure Signal v2 at my parents house with 4 phones (Vodafone), registered, 3 phone connect ok with full signal strength, but one phone fails to get full signal. I have deregistered/registered the phone in question, also carried out a hard reset of the sure signal, but this has made no difference at all. What else can be done? I can confirm that the phone has connected to the sure signal in the past.

I've reset the network setting and a soft reset as suggested, but to no avail. Please see attached with reference to download speeds, this is a screen shot of my parents Sky router with the speeds that Sky refer to. The screen shot was taken @ 19:56hrs, Sky's peak time for throttling bandwidth/speeds.

Would port forwarding be of any use?

Hi stixy,

Port forwarding is usually picked up automatically, it it's best to check.

The following ports need to be opened for forwarding:

 - 8

 - 50

 - 123

 - 500

 - 1723

 - 4500

Also, check these IPs are allowed on the router and firewall:

 - 212.183.133.177-179

 - 212.183.133.181-182

 - 212.183.131.128-191
