Hi,

I've registered (again) the Sure Signal, serial number 40131145936 and after a device reset, still have Power - flashing, Internet - off, In Service - orange, In Use - orange.

Followed troubleshooting and have the following results:

Hi all

The new device is working, and straight out the box although takes a little while to register and settle.  Looks like the original was faulty on manufacture/supply.

I'm relieved as I this was the only option to having a decent signal other than moving home!

Thanks for your help, and input - good luck with yours.

Debbie

Hi Simon,

The sure signal v1 stopped working properly about 6-10 days ago, i've had the HH5 for 9 months without this issue before.

Cheers, Dan.

Hi,

I also have a BT HH5 & my Sure signal 1 has suddenly stopped working this is a nightmare as we have very poor/non existent Vodaphone signal strength in the village we live in.

The power light stays on & steady with no other lights on, then the second light starts to flash slowly then stays lit, then the forth light starts to flash slowly for a minute or so at which point all of the lights go out then the power light comes back on and the whole process starts again.

I have followed the Trouble shooting directions including changing ethernet cable the only thing i was unable to find/change was the MTU settings.

Hi Jenny / Simon,
The Sure Signal used to work with both the HH3 & HH5 before. So I'm guessing that Italy be an issue with the Sure Signal itself.
Dan

Hi Invincidan75,

If you’ve not already done this yet, please can you complete the following steps:

  • Unplug the Ethernet cable from the Sure Signal
  • Locate the button on the base of the box next to the Ethernet ports
  • Press and hold the button for approximately 30 seconds
  • Once the lights come back on, release the button
  • Plug the cable back in
  • Allow around one hour for the Sure Signal to come back online.

Once you’ve done this, are you able to try the Sure Signal in a different location?

Thanks,

Sarah
