Sure Signal Has Moved Texts

Hi,

 

I've been getting frequent text messages to tell me to confirm the location of my Sure Signal, but every time I confirm it online I still eventually get these texts. They're getting quite annoying now, and some have been delivered as early as 5am.


Please can you help me with this?

Hi there

 

Typically you get those texts when your ISP changes or your IP address from your ISP changes. Usually they stop after a few days once the IP address settles down. You can try changing the postcode of the SureSignal to a different location, leave it a bit and then change it back to the correct address.

Hi,

 

I have done that process about 6 times now. I have been getting these texts for 3+ weeks and no matter what I do I still end up receiving these texts. It's getting frustrating.

I have this when I moved house.  Unfortunatley you need to ring 191 and get someone there to reset and re-sync the Sure Signal.  Mine took about 24 hours after this to come back online.

 

BTW I tried ignoring the texts but eventually it stopped working so I had no choice but to ring.
